The National Center for Sustainable Transportation and Georgia Tech’s research team are leading the effort to develop a model transportation sustainability curriculum that is accessible to any university. The plan is to develop eight modular undergraduate and graduate courses. The modular design (five-week topic sequences) will allow materials to be mixed and matched as needed by end users. A number of courses will also be designed and offered as professional education courses to be offered remotely by the Georgia Tech and USC/Cal State Long Beach Professional Education programs.
Surveys are currently being conducted to identify the most relevant topics for the current and future workforce, and to identify texts/publications and sustainability analysis tools used by researchers and practitioners. ADD40 has endorsed this effort and is asking for your assistance. By completing the attached survey, you will be providing input from your perspective on the relative importance of transportation sustainability topics. The survey should not take longer than 20 minutes.
